TERMS and CONDITIONS

1. Payment Methods
We accept Mastercard and Visa credit cards. We also accept Visa debit and Switch. We use a secure payment method. Payment can also be made by cheque.

2. Quality
Champers Hampers Ltd. guarantees that all products contained in our Hampers are of the highest quality and that they meet the required standards for the purpose they were intended.

3. Returns
Champers Hampers makes every effort to ensure hampers arrive in perfect condition. However, in the unlikely event of a hamper not being delivered within 14 days from the despatch date customers should advise Champers Hampers Ltd. Champers Hampers will make every effort to locate the hamper, and if necessary, send a replacement at our expense or provide a full refund. If a hamper arrives damaged in any way, customers should contact Champers Hampers within 3 days of receipt. In this case Champers Hampers will arrange for the damaged items to be picked up by our carrier and returned to the company. Champers Hampers will then send replacement items, upon confirmation that the damaged items have been returned.

4. Refunds
Refunds for valid claims will be made via the same method of payment used to place the order.

5. Delivery
Delivery to most parts of mainland UK is included in our price and will normally be made by courier. There is an additional charge for delivery to the Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, I.O.W, I.O.M and some remote parts of the Scottish mainland. We also deliver to Europe, please call for additional carriage charges. Please make sure that all addresses are accurate and include postcode, together with recipient’s telephone number where possible. This enables us to deliver speedily and accurately. Some of our parcels contain alcohol and it is the policy of our carrier to ask for proof of recipient’s age if in doubt.

6. Christmas Orders
To ensure that your Christmas gifts arrive in time, your order should reach us by 14th December at the latest.

7. Title
All goods remain the property of Champers Hampers Ltd until they have been paid for in full.

8. Insurance
Liability insurance is included

9. Application of Value Added Tax
Value Added Tax is included in the cost of each order, where applicable.

10. Data Protection
Champers Hampers does not sell to anyone its database of customers and information contained on customers remains confidential to the company. We collect information about you solely for two reasons : firstly to process your order and secondly to provide you with the best possible level of service.

11. Alcohol
It is illegal in the UK to sell alcohol to persons under the age of 18. It is also an offence for persons under 18 to buy or attempt to buy alcohol.

12. Force Majeure
Whilst every effort will be made to meet customers’ demands, cancellations or variations may be necessary as a result of an Act of God, War, Strike, Lockout, Labour Dispute, Fire, Flood, Drought or other cause beyond the control of Champers Hampers Ltd.

13. Complaints
If you have a complaint, please contact us immediately by email or phone and it will be dealt with sympathetically and confidentially. Our aim is to satisfy all our customers - every time.

14. Substitutions
We will always endeavour to supply the items as specified, however, we reserve the right to substitute with goods of equal or higher value.

15. Licensing Hours
For hampers containing alcoholic drinks we are only permitted to conclude sales during the following hours :

Mon - Sat    8am - 11pm
Sun       10am - 10.30pm

Any orders received out with these hours will not be deemed to be accepted and the sale concluded until the commencement of the next period of permitted hours.
